I was born with a cleft lip and palate. My journey with orthodontics began when I was six months old, receiving my first surgery to repair the cleft. I finally had my last set of braces removed at the age of 29. When I was 11, I realized I wanted to become an orthodontist. This decision felt natural, considering my extensive experience with Invisalign and traditional braces.
